Forest Kingfisher ACEO in acrylics

I love the vibrant blue feathers of this kingfisher.  I used a combination of Ultramarine Blue and Prussian Blue for the feathers - worked rather well.

The Forest Kingfisher is found in Northern Australia from Port Stephens in New South Wales, northward to Cape York and  westwards towards the top end.  They measure around 21.5 - 25.5 cm in length.

Forest Kingfisher measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
