Dusky Capped Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

And for the next one I found this one. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Dusky Capped Flycatchers are found in North and South America.  They measure around 18 cm in length and weigh about 19 grams.

Yellow Lored Tody Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

This week I felt like painting yellow feathers so  I went specifically looking for some yellow birds to paint.  The first one I come across is this little one and just love how it is perched on the branch.

Yellow Lored Tody Flycatchers are found in Brazil and measure around 8.8 cm in length and weigh about 6.8 grams.

This one was rather fun to paint as everything just worked.

The Black Capped Flycatcher is found in Costa Rica and Western Panama. They measure around 11.5 cm in length and weigh around 9 grams.

This one was a bit more tricky to paint that I thought it would be.  I did quite a few layers to get the depth to feathers.

The Black Bulbul is also known as the Himalayan Black Bulbul or Asian Black Bulbul and is found in Southern Asia.  They measure around 24 - 25 cm in length.
