Canada Warbler in acrylics

I cropped this one to a head portrait as the body of the bird was in the shadows but I really liked the sunlight effect on its head and chest feathers.  I used a few glazes to get the depth to the feathers and really love how it turned out.

Canada Warbler measures 6 x 6 inches and is painted on Ampersand Gessobord Panel.
