Orange Cheeked Waxbill ACEO in acrylics

This one was a bit tricky to paint with the different angle to its head.  Really pleased with how it turned.

The Orange Cheeked Waxbill is native to western and central Africa and measure around 9cm in length.


Orange Cheeked Waxbill measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
