Snowy Bellied Hummingbird ACEO in acrylics

Whereas this one gave me problems.  I lost count on how many glazes I did in order to get some definition to the feathers.  In the end I got there and I am rather pleased with how it eventually turned out.

Snowy Bellied Hummingbirds are found in Costa Rica, Panama and north western Colombia.  They measure around 10 cm in length.

Snowy Bellied Hummingbird measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
